HabitFlow Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 20, 2026 · HabitFlow 1.5
Who we are and what this policy covers
HabitFlow is developed by Hakan Özmen and published under TadaApp. This policy covers HabitFlow 1.5 on iPhone and iPad. The TadaApp website and support form have a separate website privacy policy, linked below.
The short version
HabitFlow stores habit data locally on your device. The app does not automatically send your habit history to TadaApp or a cloud service. There are no accounts, advertisements, advertising identifiers, third-party analytics SDKs, or in-app crash-reporting services in this release. We do not sell your habit data.
Data stored on your device
Local data includes habit names, icons, colors, schedules, quantities, optional identity statements and reminder times; completion history, partial counts, skips and vacation periods; and preferences such as language, theme, streak mode, notifications and onboarding status. Milo’s name, shell color and visibility are also stored locally. Garden growth is calculated from your completion history, including archived habits.
Permissions and reminders
Notifications are optional. When you enable reminders, HabitFlow asks for notification permission and schedules reminders locally through the operating system. You can change reminders in the app or revoke notification permission in your device settings. HabitFlow does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone or Apple Health data.
Exports and imports you choose
You can export habit data as JSON or CSV. A JSON backup contains habits, completion history and vacation periods; it does not include appearance or companion preferences. Data leaves the app when you choose a destination or share it through the system share sheet. A file destination or recipient handles that copy under its own policies. Importing a backup reads the file you select on your device; TadaApp does not receive it.
Operating-system backups
Your device’s backup service, such as iCloud Backup, may include HabitFlow’s local data according to your device settings. These backups are managed by the operating-system provider under its policies. HabitFlow does not provide its own cloud account or automatic cross-device synchronization.
Retention, deletion and your choices
HabitFlow keeps local history until you edit or delete it, replace it through a backup import, or remove the app’s data. Archiving a habit keeps its history; it does not erase it. Deleting the app removes its local app data, but separately saved exports and operating-system backups may remain. You can manage those copies where you saved them. Because we do not receive your habit database, we cannot recover a lost local history for you.
Purchases and advertising
HabitFlow 1.5 includes all features without in-app purchases or subscriptions and contains no advertisements. Any future feature that changes how personal data is handled will be described in an updated policy before it is enabled.
Children’s privacy
The app does not collect personal information from users, including children. If you contact us through the website, please avoid including unnecessary information about a child or anyone else.
Changes to this policy
We will update the effective date when this policy changes and describe material changes where appropriate. This page describes the current release’s behavior; it does not promise that future versions will introduce particular features.
Support and privacy questions
If you send a support request, you choose to share your name, email address, selected product, subject and message with us. That is separate from the app’s local habit data. Contact details and processing of support messages are described in the TadaApp website privacy policy.
For help or a privacy request, contact Hakan Özmen through the HabitFlow support form.
